GMail goes Offline
Oh Dont Panic. As with any other headline that you stumble across, this is bound to mislead into reading this content!! And like any other headline this is neither completely wrong.
It is in a very good way that Google has gone offline. It has got a feature through the gears, where in user would be able to browse the gmail offline. Wow they are hitting at MS outlook. It does what an outlook does. And that is made possible only though the great Google Gears. Now Gmail is eating into the outlook territory. Well there would not be many who would have gone to ends of insanity to configure gmail on Outlook. Anyway it is a good feature to look forward to!! Wow shout to Google pls. Craigslist on steroids
There are a lot of mash-ups trying to make the experience of browsing through/ searching in Craigslist better. However I found this little piece of software magic from Lifehacker, that achieves it. This is a FireFox extension. Download.
This extension displays the images of a listing just below the listing as thumbnails. If you don’t like it, just don’t bother opening the listing. This would have helped me a lot, while I was searching for my bike. I would open the listing, and would pray that the cycle is not some antic piece, and that it is something that I would love.I should say extension cuts all the melodrama. I really love using it.
And IE users even you are loved! This extension has a plug-in in for IE!

Microsoft to cut 5000j
Microsoft is planning to cut 5k jobs over the next eighteen months. Around five percentage of its workforce. Reasons given are:
- Economy - Weaker PC markets means less sales of their products
- Economy - Less returns in business markets, as spending decreases.
They have reaffirmed that their major threat is the economy rather than their competitors- like linux or google.
So if you hunt for jobs dont be surprised to see x-microsoft guys as your competitors.
